Clearwater Police Ramp Up Pedestrian And Bicyclist Safety Enforcement

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Clearwater Police Department is continuing its intensive pedestrian and bicyclist safety initiative, funded by a $27,214 contract awarded late last year.

The initiative aims to address the high number of traffic crashes involving serious and fatal injuries to pedestrians and bicyclists in Pinellas County, which ranks among the top 25 counties in Florida for such incidents.
