Warm and muggy for the rest of the week

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Another morning with low clouds and patchy fog that will lift after 10 or 11 am across the Tampa Bay area. After that, skies will be mostly sunny and temps will warm quickly into the mid and upper 80s.

It will be mostly dry across the area with the exception of a couple of inland shower this evening.

Patchy fog is possible again tonight.

Temperatures will get even warmer for the rest of the week with highs in the low 90s and possible record breaking temps.

Rain chances will increase to a 20-30% Wednesday afternoon for a few stray showers to drift toward the coast.

Rain chances come down for the rest of the week and into the weekend as high pressure builds in.

A cold front will approach early next week increasing rain chances once again.
