EDGE District project includes 500 parking spaces, hotel, office tower

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (BLOOM) — A new parking garage is nearing completion in downtown St. Petersburg’s EDGE District, bringing more than 500 much-needed spaces to the busy neighborhood.

The structure, located within the mixed-use development known as The Central , will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 22. According to developers, the garage will offer 540 total parking spaces, 400 of which will be available for public use via a cashless, app-based system.

The parking garage is one of several key components of The Central , a 2.1-acre project led by Ellison Development in partnership with J Square Developers, Backstreets Capital, and DDA Development.
