A former Central Florida deputy was recently arrested after a road rage incident where the suspect in a vehicle threw a bottle at the victim, striking her in the head.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a road rage incident involving a former deputy who is now employed by Hillsborough County Public Schools.
According to HCSO, earlier this month at 12:45pm, a victim and her two teenage children were traveling southbound on Bell Shoals Road when they approached a red light at the intersection at Fishhawk Boulevard outside of Tampa. As the light turned green, the vehicle in front of them failed to move, prompting the victim to honk her horn to alert the driver.
