Some programs, staff eliminated at Metropolitan Ministries after federal budget cuts

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — This week, Metropolitan Ministries learned it had to cut two programs and eliminate dozens of staff due to federal budget cuts.

The cuts impacted its AmeriCorps programs, including the Metro BrigAIDe program and 30 AmeriCorps members who work in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties.
