Rita Lowman, a banker based out of St. Petersburg with over four decades of service in the industry, has been elected to be a director on the executive committee of Friends of Traditional Banking.
FOTB is a nationwide SuperPAC based out of Utah. Lowman previously represented Florida on the organization’s banker board, according to a statement.
“We are honored to have Rita’s experience and depth of insights on our highest leadership committee,” says FOTB’s executive director Mike Winder in a released statement. “She is a fantastic addition to the team.”
Lowman adds this to her roster of current board positions which include Caldwell Trust Co. and Encore Bank, appointments which began in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Previous leadership appointments include chair of the Florida Bankers Association, the Southeastern U.S. cabinet of the American Cancer Society and the Tampa Bay Chamber executive board to name a few…
