TAMPA, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Planning Commission is reviewing potential changes aimed at supporting growth over the next 20 years. One proposal includes adding more housing options, like townhomes in areas where some residents feel development is getting too close for comfort.
South Tampa neighbors said several of their streets were flooded after Monday’s heavy downpours, and hurricane season hasn’t even started yet. They believe more development will only bring challenges to their community.
