Tampa Bay baby formula thieves face up to 75 years

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBS12) — Two people have been convicted of stealing over $67,000 in baby formula as part of an organized theft ring in Tampa Bay.

“While parents were finding empty shelves for their hungry babies, these guys transported stolen baby formula to others who would sell the stolen goods,” remarked Attorney General Uthmeier.

Attorney General James Uthmeier announced that Eshaud Suid and Sami Suid have been found guilty of racketeering and conspiracy related to a theft ring that stole baby formula from retailers across several counties in Florida…
