TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — An unsettled pattern is in place to start the work week. This will keep rain chances elevated over the next few days.
The best rain chance today will be along and south of I-4 both this morning and then again this afternoon/evening. Rain chances are much lower in Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco County today. Outside of the rain, it will be warm with temps in the mid and upper-80s and feels like temps between 90 and 95 degrees.
Rain chances will increase on Tuesday. While chances are low in the morning, a few downpours are possible along the coast. The best rain chance will come in the afternoon with widespread storms developing after 2 pm. Temperatures will warm into the upper 80s, and it will be muggy.
Wednesday will be another day with widespread downpours likely, especially in the afternoon and evening.
A transition to normal afternoon summer storms will happen toward the end of the week, with a regular pattern in place by the weekend…
