Ten Pinellas County restaurants were ordered to pay a combined $4,000 in fines after failing to meet state inspection standards, according to May 2025 records from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

Facing The Biggest Violation Fines

Mega Burrito at 1478 Gulf To Bay Boulevard in Clearwater received the largest penalty of $800 on May 16, 2025. The restaurant was temporarily closed on Nov. 22, 2024, due to roach problems and an expired food manager certification among five total violations found during inspection.
