St. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA)—Two people were taken into custody and charged after forcing their way into a home and hitting a woman with a gun in St. Petersburg.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3600 block of 49th Avenue North after a reported home invasion around 7:36 p.m. on Monday.
PCSO said the victim told deputies that two men pushed past her and into the home. One struck her in the head with a firearm and then fled.
