60 ‘critically missing’ children rescued, 8 people arrested

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB/Gray News) – U.S. Marshals, with the help of several law enforcement agencies, rescued 60 missing children.

The “critically missing” children were rescued from Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties in Florida. They ranged in age from 9 to 17.

According to the U.S. Marshals, “critically missing” children are those at risk of crimes of violence or those with other elevated risk factors such as substance abuse, sexual exploitation, crime exposure or domestic violence…
