St. Petersburg and USF Launch Immersive Marine Science Camp to Empower Middle Schoolers

In an innovative move to foster youth education, the City of St. Petersburg, in partnership with the University of South Florida, has introduced a new program designed to provide middle schoolers with an immersive learning experience in marine science, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing. This initiative, encapsulated in a 5-day, 4-night residential camp, is set against the backdrop of St. Pete’s own expansive coastal environment, allowing students an up-close encounter with the very ecosystems they’re studying.
