St. Petersburg Driver Dies After Colliding With Parked Truck In Circle K Lot

Medical Episode Suspected in Fatal Roosevelt Blvd Incident

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A morning trip to a local gas station turned tragic Tuesday when a driver collapsed and died shortly after his car was involved in a minor collision. The incident occurred just after 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Circle K located at 10600 Roosevelt Blvd N.

Authorities say Johnnie Miller, 63, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu when he collided with a parked Toyota Tacoma near a gas pump. After the initial impact, his vehicle reportedly drove over a traffic cone before Miller parked the car. Upon exiting his vehicle, Miller collapsed.

Emergency services transported Miller to HCA Florida Northside Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His next of kin has been notified…
