Largo community now eligible for disaster relief after EF-1 tornado

LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — Two weeks after a devastating tornado ripped through a Largo community, federal help may now be available for some.

The EF-1 tornado damaged a number of homes. Now, the Small Business Administration will set up in the Largo Public Library to help people apply for federal aid.

Lori Johnson’s home in the Ranchero Community was severely damaged by the storm, and she is still dealing with problems.

“Emptying out my house, trying to get everything out. I finally got it to stop pouring in, every time it rained. It was still pouring in my living room, just as if you were outside,” Johnson said…
