ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested after police said he stole thousands of dollars’ worth of power tools and cabinets from a Habitat for Humanity home that was under construction.
Darin Farrow, 58, entered the home on 18th Avenue South around 3 a.m. on July 3 and stole $3,780 worth of tools and cabinets being used to work on the vacant house, according to St. Petersburg police.

Detectives said they were gathering evidence and canvassing the neighborhood when they saw Farrow ride by on his bicycle.
