Pinellas County is setting up its defenses against an impending storm by offering residents the opportunity to fill up sandbags at designated parks.
On Saturday, Wall Springs Park in Palm Harbor and the Lealman Exchange in St. Petersburg will allow individuals to actively prepare from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This kickoff helps citizens rally against floods, with each vehicle allowed to fill up to 10 bags.
