HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – The Hillsborough County Sheriff said two people and their pets were rescued from a sunken boat near the Hillsborough River on July 24.
The sheriff said deputies and members of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) responded to a swampy area of Morris Bridge Park around 8:25 p.m. on Thursday. At the scene, they found two people and two dogs trapped on a sunken boat.
