CLEARWATER, Fla. — More affordable housing will soon be available in Pinellas County, as the Pinellas County Housing Authority is working on a new initiative to acquire and develop more assisted living facilities.

With more than 2,700 people on its housing choice voucher wait list, the agency wants to increase access to lower rent for the most vulnerable people in the community.
