Raising Cane’s opens first St. Petersburg location

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (July 30, 2025) – Raising Cane’s is officially bringing its famous chicken fingers to St. Petersburg. The brand will open its first restaurant in the city on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 2700 Tyrone Blvd. N., kicking off the launch with a full day of giveaways, music and signature southern flavor.

The celebration begins at 8 a.m. with the “Lucky 20” giveaway, where 20 guests ages 13 and up will win free Cane’s for a year. Entry is open between 8 and 9 a.m., with winners announced on-site shortly after. The first 100 combos purchased that morning will also receive exclusive Raising Cane’s swag, including a commemorative hat and a free Box Combo card, redeemable on a future visit.

Guests can expect an energetic atmosphere throughout the day, including a live DJ and family-friendly festivities aimed at celebrating the company’s long-awaited arrival in the Sunshine City.

Founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Raising Cane’s has grown into a cult favorite known for its simplified menu centered around fresh, never-frozen chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, Cane’s Sauce and coleslaw.
