TAMPA, Fla. (CBS12) — Two dogs and two people were rescued from a sunken boat in mid-July by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
On July 24, at about 8:25 p.m., HCSO’s dive boat was launched to rescue the stranded boaters in Morris Bridge Park, but a fallen tree had blocked the river.
Body camera video shows deputies trudging the river as they come upon the fall tree. The video continues to show one of the men waving their hands for help, a dog can be heard barking the background…
