A domestic violence suspect in Florida was found hiding in a body of water, and aerial video shows multiple deputies working to wrestle him to shore.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to Key Biscayne Drive just north of Tampa on Saturday after a domestic violence suspect fled into a nearby body of water. The sheriff’s office Underwater Recovery Team was dispatched to assist, and immediately began searching the reed line.
An aerial video shared by the sheriff’s office shows deputies along the water’s edge, searching for the suspect, identified as Justin Simcic. The shoreline is lined with tall grasses and thick vegetation, but divers eventually located him in the water near the shore…
