Gulfport businesses cleaning up after Sunday storm

GULFPORT, Fla. (WFLA) — Heidi France walked down Gulfport streets after a heavy rain Sunday night and was saddened by what she saw.

“It was basically like a river, like all of the Main Avenue here, and we were seeing it all up against these businesses that are just getting back on their feet,” France said.

Gulfport was hit hard by hurricanes Milton and Helene, and some businesses have still not reopened because of damage from those storms.
