ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — An unveiling was held Wednesday for five new waterfront park bench swings that were installed in parks across downtown St. Petersburg.
Funded by the Majeed Foundation, the swings were installed in Coffee Pot, Vinoy and North Straub parks, and two were placed in Flora Wylie Park.
Each of the newly installed swings has an embedded QR code that, when scanned, links to a public survey about the downtown waterfront parks, including activities, amenities and improvements the public would like to see in the parks…
