Man arrested after deputies find meth, $12K during traffic stop: HCSO

RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested Friday after deputies allegedly found a trafficking amount of methamphetamine in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy initiated a traffic stop at 5th Avenue Southeast and 2nd Street Southeast in Ruskin.

Deputies asked the driver, Joseph Perrone, 64, to step out of his vehicle after he said he didn’t have his license or registration…
