Why St. Pete is a top spot to live in the Southeast

Every year, Livability evaluates cities across the country to identify the Top 100 Best Places to Live in America. The rankings focus on towns with populations between 75,000 and 500,000 and weigh nearly 100 data points, including affordability, amenities, culture, and quality of life. This year, St. Pete earned a spot among the top 25 destinations in the Southeast, standing out for its blend of natural beauty, community spirit, and innovative growth.

How did St. Pete impress Livability? For starters, the city enjoys an average of 361 days of sunshine each year and even holds a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive sunny days—an incredible 768-day stretch that began in 1967.
