Hillsborough County Duo Face Federal Charges After Armed Robbery Spree Comes to an End

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with federal agencies, has made two arrests in connection with a series of armed robberies that have occurred in the county over the past two months. According to the official statement, Andres Correa Jr., 39, and Cassandra Kerr, 46, are now facing federal charges after a series of violent crimes.

During the robberies, Correa Jr. brandished a firearm, using it to intimidate both employees and customers in order to steal undisclosed amounts of money. Kerr’s involvement, as outlined by the Sheriff’s Office, was as the getaway driver, facilitating the pair’s quick escape from the crime scenes.
