A 58-year-old man was fatally struck by a pickup truck while attempting to cross roadway
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 58-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle on US-41 on Tuesday. The incident happened at around 8:10 PM, south of 4th Avenue Southeast.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford F-150, driven by a 53-year-old man from Ruskin, was traveling northbound on US-41. A 58-year-old pedestrian from Sun City Center, who was walking across the highway, entered the vehicle’s path.
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the F-150 was not injured. The investigation into the crash is ongoing…
