The Frog Pond reopens in North Redington Beach: “the heart of this place stays the same”

The Frog Pond on North Redington Beach is finally back open at 16909 Gulf Blvd. Diners across Pinellas County eagerly took their seat inside the cozy breakfast hub after months of repairs following storm damage from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The owners of the restaurant wrote the following on Facebook after the Frog Pond’s soft reopening weekend: “Day one of the soft opening was a success! Thank you, God, and thank you to the village of people that it took just to get to this point! None of this is possible without the love and support that we have received over the past 11 1/2 months! The grand opening will be coming soon! Stay Froggy, my friends!”

Diners rush back to The Frog Pond nearly a year after it closed

Some of the first diners to return to the establishment immediately raved about feasting on the Key West Omelette.

The Frog Pond is a multi-generational beach treasure. Second-generation owner David Hitterman has passed the torch to the third generation of ownership, Luciano LaRocca. “The Frog Pond will continue its legacy and tradition of consistency and quality while adding a few new options to the menu,” noted the restaurant team. “It is such a blessing to be a part of this community and serve you since our doors opened in 1982!”…
