James Museum to refresh the Earth and Humanity Foundation Wildlife Gallery

ST. PETERSBURG — The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art recently unveiled plans to reinstall its Earth and Humanity Foundation Wildlife Gallery into an engaging art space that highlights the beauty, diversity and conservation of wildlife.

The gallery transition will begin on Sunday, Sept. 14, and will reopen to the public on Saturday, Sept. 20, which is also Free Museum Day. Free Museum Day is produced by the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, the city of St. Petersburg, and participating cultural organizations.

Alongside breathtaking artworks portraying wildlife from Florida’s wetlands to the far reaches of the globe, guests will discover new interpretive features to engage all ages, including family-friendly activities, exciting new label content, and audio elements.
