The Florida Orchestra hasn’t announced its celebrity gala event for this season yet, but Morgan Freeman is bringing his own traveling “Symphonic Blues Experience” to downtown St. Petersburg later this month.
The 88-year-old Hollywood legend, who grew up in Mississippi (and was alive for a year at the same time as Delta blues legend Robert Johnson) will kick off the night with an in-person introduction, which will precede an evening of pre-recorded folklore to go along with a diverse variety of classic blues material…
