Seven restaurants across Pinellas County were forced to temporarily close their doors in August 2025 after state inspectors found serious food safety infractions. The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation conducted 254 total inspections during the month, with 194 restaurants passing on their first visit, while 60 failed their initial inspection.
