A woman was killed Tuesday night while attempting to cross a busy street, according to authorities.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian-involved crash that occurred Tuesday night, resulting in the death of a 56-year-old woman.
According to a police report, the incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. in the 400 block of 34th Street North. The woman was attempting to cross the street from east to west when she stepped into the path of a white Ford F-150 traveling in the southbound curb lane. She was struck by the truck.
Emergency services transported the woman to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending the notification of her family…
