SPFR Block Party
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. Walter Fuller Park, 7891 26th Ave. N., St. Petersburg. Celebrate over 30 years of tradition with St. Pete Fire Rescue. Featuring fire truck tours, bounce houses, food and drinks, and valuable fire safety and injury prevention resources. Kids can grab free safety gear, such as life jackets and bike helmets. Don’t miss the exciting live side-by-side fire demonstration and a day packed with fun and community spirit.
Autumn Harvest Festival
10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. Pinellas Pioneer Settlement, 3010 31st St. S, St. Petersburg. This family-friendly event filled with fall activities and nature-inspired fun. There will be a free tree giveaway; only one tree will be given out to each household on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring buckets and containers, as organic soil and mulch will be available. Oktoberfest on the Beach 2025
Noon-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. Kolb Park, 1508 Bay Palm Blvd., Indian Rocks Beach. Guests can look forward to all their Oktoberfest favorites: ice-cold beer, bratwursts, pretzels, and streusel, plus live bands, children’s activities, local vendors, and classic games — from the kids’ chicken dance to the crowd-favorite stein carry and keg toss. The Bone 102.5 radio will be broadcasting live from 4-6 p.m.
THURSDAY
West Florida Y Runners Club
5 a.m. Thursdays, Oct. 9. Northside Christian, 7777 62nd Ave. N., St. Petersburg. Coached track workouts meet weekly. An all-paces welcome, 5-mile run meets at 5 a.m. in Dunedin at 2646 Bayshore Blvd. in front of the gym. Runners also meet on Sundays at 6 a.m. for a 13-mile loop, at the Clearwater City parking lot, 112 S. Osceola Ave. People run a variety of distances, up to 13 miles, and at a variety of paces.
