TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. — As turmoil between Treasure Island commissioners continues, many in the community are calling for the drama to stop as they try to recover from last year’s hurricanes.
One commissioner left Tuesday night’s meeting crying. Vice-mayor Tammy Vasquez hosted a town hall on Wednesday, giving the public a chance to ask her if she regrets fanning the flames of controversy.
