Teen brothers arrested for possession of firearms: HCSO

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Two teen brothers were arrested on Tuesday after a multi-week investigation led to the discovery of firearms in their possession, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

In a social media post, HCSO said their Gun Intelligence Working group arrested a 17-year-old and his 15-year-old brother after detectives executed a search warrant at their home in Tampa.

During the search, detectives said they located and seized the following:

  • A Palmetto State PA-15 AR pistol
  • an AR pistol of an unknown make and model due to having no serial number or branding
  • A Palmetto State Armory Dagger 9mm handgun
  • A Glock 27 handgun
  • 64 rounds of assorted ammunition
  • 338 grams of cannabis
  • $753 in cash
