Tampa, FL – Deputies in Hillsborough County say they recovered a stolen Mercedes-Benz in Tampa that was reported missing after last being seen in Miami. The suspect allegedly found with the vehicle was also carrying drugs and a firearm.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest took place on October 10, 2025, when deputies located Aaron Canario, 46, in possession of the stolen car. Inside, investigators reportedly found an unassigned Florida license plate, more than six grams of cocaine, and a firearm.
Canario was arrested and faces multiple charges, including Armed Possession of a Controlled Substance, Grand Theft Motor Vehicle, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm, according to authorities…
