Your Guide to This Weekend’s Top Local Events: Seafood Festival, Halloween on Central, and More

St. Petersburg and nearby beach communities will host several public events this weekend. The 2025 Johns Pass Seafood Festival will take place in Madeira Beach from October 24 to 26. The event will feature seafood, live music, and local vendors along the waterfront. The festival is free and returns to its usual October schedule.

On Sunday, October 26, Central Avenue will close to vehicles for Halloween on Central. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. and covers 22 blocks in the EDGE and Grand Central Districts. Activities include music, costumes, candy, and other attractions. The event began in 2021 and now attracts over 100,000 people each year. Admission is free.
