St. Pete’s biggest art show expands with two new events

Embracing Our Differences is, very literally, the biggest art show in St. Pete every year, filling an entire park with billboard-sized pieces of art. Ahead of its spring 2026 return, Embracing Our Differences has announced two new events to add to your calendar.

The first is the Bucket Fillers Reading Day, taking place at area schools on November 13. Now in its eighth year in Sarasota and Manatee counties, the program teaches children how to “fill buckets’’ through simple acts of kindness, love, and appreciation for others. Each participating student and classroom will receive books to continue the lessons of compassion and respect long after the day ends.

Participating Pinellas County schools include Maximo Elementary, Lakeview Fundamental, and Campbell Park Elementary.

For the adults, Embracing Our Differences is bringing its annual fundraising luncheon to St. Pete. The event takes place on Friday, December 5, from 11:30 am – 1 pm at the Mahaffey Theater. Tickets are available here…
