LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — Last week, a Largo man chose an interesting strategy to cope with his anger: smashing pumpkins, and not the rock music variety.
At around 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 21, Aaron Thompson, 31, made his way to the Target on Ulmerton Road with his sights set on the boxes of pumpkins the store keeps outside during fall.
He was captured on surveillance video selecting pumpkins from the box and smashing them on the ground. An arrest affidavit said he victimized around 80 gourds, doing $472.14 worth of damage.
