Pinellas – Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old James Isaac Perry of Largo on October 28, 2025, in connection with multiple incidents involving counterfeit U.S. currency.
According to arrest affidavits, Perry was charged with three felony counts: one count of Possessing Forged Notes, Bills, Checks, or Drafts, and two counts of Uttering Forged Bills, Checks, Drafts, or Notes.
Deputies say that on October 20, 2025, Perry and a co-defendant, 18-year-old Benjamin Warshowsky, passed counterfeit $20 bills at several businesses, including Sugar Daddies Ice Cream and The Spice & Tea Exchange on Madeira Beach.
