Earlier this week, two-year-old Jaylen Johnson went missing from his family’s home in Tampa. His parents last saw him on Monday evening when they put him to bed, but discovered he was gone the next morning. They immediately called 911, prompting a large search effort by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
More than 200 officers, including K-9 units and bloodhounds, drone operators, and an aviation unit, searched the area around the apartment complex where the family lives. Jaylen was later found safe by a nearby resident, and it turns out, the family’s pit bull had stayed with him the entire time he was missing.
