ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A man initially reported for suspicious activity in a residential neighborhood was apprehended early Sunday morning and subsequently linked by police to a string of vehicle burglaries and auto thefts across the area.
At approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 9, police were called to investigate a report of a man walking up to driveways and peering into the windows of parked vehicles. When confronted by responding officers, the suspect, identified as Cornelius Edwards, 26, fled the scene on foot.
