ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — More than 20 cold weather shelters are open across the Tampa Bay area to keep people warm as temperatures drop.
At places like the Unitarian Universalist Church in St. Pete, volunteers continued to work nonstop to help those in need.
“I wish we could hold more people,” said Rev. Ben Atherton-Zeeman. “I wish that housing were a right and not a privilege in this community and in this country.”…
