Georgia teen with rare brain cancer fulfills dying wish to be baptized in the Gulf

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — The Pinellas County community rallied around 18-year-old Caden Speck from Georgia, whose dying wish was to be baptized in the Gulf during a life-changing visit to Florida this week.

Speck, who is being treated in Atlanta for what his family said is one of the rarest forms of brain cancer in the world, traveled to Reddington Beach to spend time with his girlfriend, Jasmine Hancock. Loved ones said the trip offered a brief escape from months of grueling treatments.
