TAMPA, Fla. — A new analysis found that more consumers in the country are behind on their utility bills.
The data comes amid increased pushback against Florida utility companies for proposing to increase rate hikes in recent years. Companies state the increase is necessary amid stronger storms and record heat but customers aren’t buying it.
