This ain’t your basic paint-and-sip.
Toss that paintbrush and trade it for a soldering iron and a wine glass. It’s time to head to the heart of Uptown St. Pete and catch a workshop at Glass of Life. Located at 499 7th Ave N, this neighborhood stained glass studio is a novelty creative outlet for classes, workshops, and hands-on fun.
Making glass art a more accessible medium
Opened in January 2024, Glass of Life was built on a simple idea: make stained glass accessible to everyone. No experience? No problem. Every class is fully inclusive, which means all materials, tools, and guidance are provided. All you have to do is show up, relax, and immerse and indulge in the pleasures of colors, textures, and spark of personal creativity.
Glass of Life keeps things fun, flexible, and unintimidating. Their lineup includes beginner and intermediate class series, 2-hour workshops, and open-studio memberships that give you more time to explore the craft. Sessions are led by talented instructors who generously donate their time to sharing stained glass with St. Pete. It’s a big part of why the entire studio atmosphere feels so warm and welcoming…
