Staff members at O’Maddy’s Bar & Grille are rallying behind one of their own after a devastating diagnosis.
General manager Jennifer Rockholt-Kimbrell learned that she has colon cancer about a month ago. “Jammin’ for Jenn,” a fundraiser to help with medical bills, is scheduled at the Gulfport restaurant Friday through Sunday.
“She’s very sick already. I think time is of the essence,” said O’Maddy’s co-owner Maddy Guenther. “I wanted to get something done before the holidays to alleviate some of the financial burden.”…
