Traffic Alert: Speed Limits Drop On I-275 And Howard Frankland Today

TAMPA / ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Commuters crossing the bay or heading through north St. Pete are waking up to new rules on the road this morning. As of early Monday, December 8, transportation officials have officially lowered speed limits in two major construction zones along the I-275 corridor.

The new limit is set at 55 MPH for the following stretches:
