Back in May, What Now reported on the relocation of beloved sports bar Dead Bob’s from its original home at 6716 Central Ave. to a nearby spot at 6475 Central Ave, the former home of Kay’s Restaurant. That opening has since come off successfully:
“Alert!!” said a post published by Dead Bob’s on Facebook on November 29. “New location is open… Game day on the new patio. Big screen TV’s. Ice cold beer. Freshest seafood in town.”
At the time, however, it was not yet known what would become of the original home of Dead Bob’s, at 6716 Central. As it turns out, Dead Bob’s owner Ben Scherlis is partnering with Jim Breazeale, owner of DeLosa’s Pizzeria in Madeira Beach, on a new sister restaurant: Bob’s Side Piece…
